Pacific Science Center Dead Sea Scrolls Traveling Exhibit
Click to open larger image.

In 2006-2007, the Pacific Science Center was hosting a traveling exhibit of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Because the Pacific Science Center is not a collection-holding institution, they do not have in-house collections management staff.

PRA provided contract collections management services to Seattle’s Pacific Science Center during the recent exhibit of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

PRA staff worked with staff from the Israeli Antiquities Authority to review the condition of the traveling exhibit’s artifacts during exhibit installation and deinstallation process and prepared monthly condition reports for non-scroll artifacts throughout the entire run of the exhibit.
